Job Summary
Start and stop machines safely, place and remove parts, and monitor operations while checking quality with designated instruments. Assist in maintenance and repair, operate tools to aid manufacturing, and perform periodic equipment checks to troubleshoot issues. Oversee machine execution, make adjustments to improve results, and produce quality parts according to targets and schedules. Record all actions and log completed parts, maintaining a clean work area. Requires high school diploma or GED, willingness to learn, and ability to lift heavy equipment or stand for long periods. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Willingness to follow written or oral work instructions
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Satisfactory pre-employment drug testing
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to learn and improve to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Desired Qualifications
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility
- Familiarity of various manufacturing tools and machinery including but not limited to facers, lathes, CNC's, and other mechanical machinery
- Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to be organized
- Ability to be detail-oriented
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Willingness to work in shifts that may include early or late hours, weekends, or overtime if necessary
