Job Summary
Set up and operate production machinery and equipment while monitoring performance and making basic adjustments. Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions to verify product quality using measuring tools. Perform routine machine cleaning, basic preventative maintenance, and report any equipment or quality issues. Follow all safety procedures and support production goals while cross-training in multiple work areas. Work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule for days or nights with a $2.00 shift premium.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Comfortable using hand tools, including wrenches, hammers, and levels
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable working around machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Must be available for occasional overtime and weekend work based on production needs
- Must be able to follow all safety procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to cross-train in multiple work areas and equipment
