Job Summary
Machine Operator role focused on setting up and operating MPE CTL Dept. equipment to meet production goals, manually sorting MPE tubing, adjusting tooling for tubing size, and maintaining specifications. Responsibilities include using a jib/overhead crane and electric pallet jacks, setting up cutting equipment with clamps and stops, selecting packing materials per product specs, and preparing packaging. Requires ability to read blueprints, perform basic math, operate measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, fix gauges), and collaborate with internal/external teams to meet process standards and production orders.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret simple reference material such as printed instructions and blueprints
- Proficient use of a jib crane, overhead crane, and electric pallet jacks
- Proficient use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and fix gauges
- Ability to handle basic math
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to operate a jib crane, overhead crane, and electric pallet jacks
- Knowledge of process related standards
- Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members
- Set up and operate cutting equipment, clamping jaws and guards and set stops
- Change and adjust blades as required
- Proficient use of equipment required by job function
