Job Summary
Operate SMT production equipment (screen printers and pick-and-place machines) to support PCB assembly; perform machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime; ensure accurate solder paste application and component placement; inspect PCB assemblies for defects and verify quality; collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve process issues; maintain and clean SMT equipment; follow ESD, safety, and company procedures; document production data and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of SMT manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Hands-on experience operating SMT screen printers and pick-and-place equipment
- Ability to read work instructions, assembly drawings, and BOMs
- Knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610)
