Machine Operator - HS CNC Trainee

Job Summary
Set up and operate multi-spindle CNC rotary transfer machines to convert raw materials into finished components while adhering to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines. Execute assigned tasks according to workflows, read work instructions to determine specifications and material requirements, and make complex machine adjustments using your own judgment. Monitor equipment for malfunctions, perform daily maintenance including coolant and oil checks, and document all work completed using the manufacturing system. Stage orders for efficient changeovers, utilize dispatch lists to reduce transition times, and stack, pack, and transport finished pieces as required.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced and specialized manufacturing/quality knowledge
- Possesses flexibility, skill and experience setting up and operating a variety of CNC machines
- Ability to work overtime as scheduled
- Awareness of procedures to use around hazardous materials
- Recognizes HAZMAT conditions and alerts appropriate personnel
- Ability to use dial calipers, snap gauges or micrometers
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a work team
- Ability to actively involve in cross-training and assist co-workers in cross-training
