Machine Operator -Grinder

Job Summary
Operate grinding machinery to perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and boring while interpreting blueprints and installing appropriate cutting tools. Secure raw materials, monitor machining processes for precision, and use measuring instruments to inspect parts against specifications. Maintain organized work areas, clean equipment, and report faulty machinery or defective materials to the supervisor. Adhere strictly to safety policies, including wearing personal protective equipment, and assist leadership in identifying procedural improvements. Meet daily production targets and follow specific operational instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Prompt and regular attendance required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to read O.D. and I.D. mics preferred
