Job Summary
Operate and monitor industrial machinery to ensure efficient functionality, conduct routine inspections, and perform necessary adjustments while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards. Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, providing support for the operations of a fast-paced plant. Must have hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing environments with mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates must be able to rotate shifts. The role involves working at Glen-Gery Corporation's Rocky Ride, MD facility, where the company is expanding its North American operations with new automated equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Machine Operator experience
- Experience in the operation of industrial manufacturing machines
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to rotate shifts
- Previous experience as a machine operator within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting experience
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of all maintenance fields: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics operated equipment, as well as electronic and vacuum systems
- Basic computer skills
- College or Technical degree
