Job Summary
Operate roll forming and fabricating machines, including die cut-off presses, to produce quality products based on customer requirements. Changeover and adjust production on roll formers efficiently, setting stops or guides to specified lengths while maintaining part quality consistent with drawings. Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines and dies, and measure product dimensions to determine accuracy of operation. Assist in training new operators and provide suggestions for process improvements while reinforcing 6s standards for organization and cleanliness. Maintain regular attendance and observe safety procedures, reporting potentially unsafe conditions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Trade School or High school diploma
- 1 year to 3 years of work-related experience at Quality Aluminum Products or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Roll craft
- Roll form
- basic FMA
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, or decimals
- Ability to read, write and speak basic English
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to fill out production reports
- Ability to follow production schedules
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
