Job Summary
Operate cranes for lifting, moving, positioning, loading, and unloading materials in accordance with approved lifting plans and site procedures. Conduct pre-start, operational, and post-operation inspections of cranes and associated lifting equipment while coordinating with riggers and supervisors. Operate other heavy machinery including forklifts, excavators, and generators as permitted by competency. Perform routine operations, preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure safe, reliable plant performance. Maintain accurate operating logs and inspection records. Follow all safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and PPE standards while reporting defects and unsafe conditions. Requires valid Class DE license and Mincom certificate for cranes not less than 400T. Minimum 2+ years of crane operation experience. Located in Western Region, Ghana.
Required Qualifications
- HND or NVTI Part 1, Part 2 or Part
- Valid Heavy Equipment License – Class DE
- Valid Mincom Certificate of Competence for cranes not less than 400T
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience operating cranes not less than 400T
