Job Summary
Sets up, creates programs, troubleshoots, and operates all machines in the press shop, including basic robot troubleshooting, in accordance with established safe procedures. Reads and interprets blueprints to select, position, and secure machinery while using measuring tools to verify work. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately and works with the Supervisor and Lead Hand to meet daily productivity targets. Performs repetitive tasks, handles material up to 5-20 Lbs., and provides hands-on training to new associates. Complies with EHS guidelines, maintains awareness of best practices, and contributes to overall team functioning.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery
- Ability to properly use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
- Ability to adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
- Knowledge of set up, start up, and stoppage procedures for all equipment
- Ability to work with Supervisor and Lead Hand to ensure that daily productivity targets are met in a timely and safe manner
- Ability to demonstrate positive and safe workplace behavior at all time
- Ability to work as a team in the achievement of daily production targets
- Ability to complete a variety of tasks/complex tasks within the department
- Ability to comply with company's EHS guidelines
- Ability to ensure all required PPE are used while working on the shop floor
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle material up to 5-20 Lbs. for an 8-10 hour shift
- Ability to provide hands on training to new associates
- Ability to frequently coordinate with Supervisor/Lead in the achievement of overall plant's productivity/ efficiency and lead #CI initiatives
- Strong desire to train in any/all departments
