Job Summary
Machine Operator/Forklift role focused on operating and overseeing the wash line process to clean bales, monitor and adjust equipment to meet quality standards, perform inspections, troubleshoot minor issues, and safely operate a forklift for material handling. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, following safety protocols, maintaining equipment (conveyors, shredders, separators), reporting deviations in quality, keeping the work area organized, and assisting in ensuring a safe working environment. Key skills: strong observational and analytical abilities, ability to follow instructions, effective communication, initiative, coordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and safety-minded problem solving. Experience in manufacturing production and forklift operation (certification preferred) and basic mathematics/calculus are desirable. Work environment: manufacturing floor with potential exposure to loud noises, dust, high temperatures, humidity, chemicals, and mandatory PPE.
