Job Summary
Operate the forging press to form products using billets and die blocks according to established standard work for production purposes. Set up and run 2nd and 3rd hit parts via main cells, make off sets and adjustments to machines without supervision, and troubleshoot die issues. Produce parts to manufacturing or customer prints with minimal supervision while monitoring machine program performance and completing shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets. Perform housekeeping per 6S schedule and advocate for health and safety. Review and follow production schedule, complete all DHR documents and IPIS forms correctly, and adhere to Quality Management Systems procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ Years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position - Frequently
- Must be able to move about the inside of the building - Occasionally
- Must be able to move equipment around the building - Occasionally
- Must be able to position oneself and move under/around/over equipment - Occasionally
- Must be able to handle/adjust/inspect/position various items and equipment - Constantly
- Must be able to communicate and exchange information with others - Frequently
- Must be able to perform tasks that require repetitive handling/adjusting/inspecting/positioning of items and equipment - Constantly
- Must be able to distinguish and detect information such as writing and defects - Frequently
- Candidates must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States through eVerify

- High School Or Equivalent (Preferred)
- Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred)
