Job Summary
Operate a steel folding machine to bend custom and stock steel trim components by reading schematics, programming equipment, and running parts to meet specifications. Inspect finished products for accuracy and consistency while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to safety procedures. Cross-train on cutting machines and collaborate with the team to support daily production goals. Work on feet for 90% of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, within the steel parts department at our Detroit Lakes facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work on your feet for 90% of the day
- Ability to lift up to 40 - 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Reliable transportation, attendance, & punctuality
- Ability to understand and read schematics
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Strong attention to details
- Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required
