Job Summary
Machine Operator (Floater) based in Grandville, MI, primarily operating hi-lo, forklift, loader, sweeper and/or small loader to assist in loading, unloading, grading, inspecting, buying and transporting materials. Responsible for identifying material grades, performing maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and preparing reports. Role may float to other PADNOS locations in the greater Grand Rapids area; emphasizes mechanical problems, documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Hi-Lo experience required
- Six months’ operating small equipment experience preferred
- Equipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledge
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accuracy in operation and attention to detail
