Job Summary
Operate and maintain material-handling equipment (hi-lo, loader, forklift, sweeper, small loader) to load/unload, grade, inspect, buy, and transport materials; distinguish between grades/types of materials using basic tests; perform pre/during/post-operation maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions; prepare and complete required paperwork; ensure safety and protect company property; collaborate with team in a fast-paced recycler environment; six months of small equipment experience preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and customer-service orientation; benefit-oriented role with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Hi-lo experience required
- Six months’ operating small equipment experience preferred
- Equipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledge
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
