Job Summary
Start, stop, and run the Flake to Pellet machine per established safety and operational procedures while monitoring flake feed to assure continuous operation. Inspect finished pellets for quality standards, troubleshoot minor machine issues, and account for machine scrap. Perform routine maintenance, maintain a clean working environment, and report unsafe conditions to the Team Leader or FTP Technical Lead. Monitor production for adherence to quality specifications and notify leadership of potential problems. This role operates on day or night shift with night shift premium eligibility, requiring a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and consistent attendance in warehouse conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Comfortable working in warehouse conditions
- Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
- Able to follow safety rules and procedures
- This position is available on both day shift and night shift
- Employees assigned to the night shift are eligible for an additional shift premium
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- OSHA forklift certification (employer will provide training if not certified)
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
