Machine Operator

Operate wave-soldering machines to solder electronics components onto printed circuit boards by adjusting controls for speed, temperature, and flux height. Monitor heat-sensitive color marks on PCBs to verify preheating specifications and maintain simple logs of completed work. Clean solder pots and flux inside machines, while performing routine production activities and informing personnel of equipment or material problems. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to create new programs. Requires three years of manufacturing experience and the ability to read instructions.
