Job Summary
Set up and operate sheet metal working equipment to fabricate parts to close tolerances, welding various metals in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. Monitor production processes to ensure quality and accuracy, verifying inspections before moving items to the next work cell. Operate machinery safely per Standard Operating Procedures while organizing the work area and maintaining equipment per preventative maintenance documentation. Perform routine tasks under close supervision with some shipping and receiving duties. This first-shift role requires the ability to work under minimal supervision, handle complex issues, and lift up to 50 lbs. Previous fabricating experience is preferred, with training provided for those without it.
