Job Summary
Verify etching equipment is in proper working condition before use and make-up chemicals per routings. Inspect substrates for photoresist quality prior to etching, touch up intricate images using a microscope, and verify critical dimensions with a Nikon system. Operate manual and automated wet etch methods, perform tape tests to ensure quality, strip photoresist for 100% cleanliness inspection, and measure metal thickness using a Dektak system. Work in a cleanroom environment handling small, fragile substrates while maintaining strict adherence to AS9100/ISO9001 standards and ITAR regulations. This role supports Vishay UltraSource's manufacturing of discrete semiconductors in Hollis, NH.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings
- Must be able to handle small/fragile substrates
- Good visual acuity (lens correction as required)
- Able to perform inspections under microscope
- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident in accordance with ITAR Policy
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Some college coursework
- Previous experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC
- Computer proficiency including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude
