Job Summary
Prepare and operate automatic press machines to process high-quality rubber products for offshore platforms, sub-sea pipelines, and industrial applications. Load hot molds, remove parts, inspect components, and clean molds and equipment. Ensure all production materials are available and record time and temperature data. Change molds as necessary and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor. Operate a forklift and follow safe work practices while effectively running one line with multiple presses. This entry-level day shift role in Lampasas, TX, requires the ability to work in temperatures over 100 degrees, lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime to maintain production.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
- Effectively run one line with multiple presses
- Will be required to work overtime if needed to continue production on any shift
- Basic comprehension of written and verbal communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division)
- Ability to follow safe work practices
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Heavy to moderate physical effort may be required for the following: Prolonged standing, reaching, bending stooping, pushing, pulling and climbing
- Regular lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in temperatures over 100 degrees
