Machine Operator - D Shifts (Night)

Job Summary
Monitor tile movement through the kiln firing process and inspect units for defects. Record hourly kiln temperatures and collect samples for the lab. Ensure efficient operation by following ISO procedures, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, and adjusting workflows to reduce risks. Report equipment issues, injury symptoms, and uncontrolled risk factors to supervisors while participating in incident investigations. Complete required training in ergonomics, safety, and environmental protocols. Work D shifts from midnight to 6 AM or 6 PM to 6 AM, lifting up to 50 pounds in a loud environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and temperature variations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to understand and speak basic English
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
