Machine Operator – Cutting Room

Full-time Machine Operator in Arcola, IL for the Cap and Gown manufacturing team. Responsible for off-loading and labeling cut parts, hand-cutting multiple product lines, operating forklift, inspecting materials against cutting tickets, spreading cloth on cutting tables, maintaining material and quality standards, recording material and time usage, performing operator asset care, and operating slicing/rewinding machines. Must have basic math, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and be proficient with Oracle, Excel, Word, and email. Daily tasks include stocking the floor with sliced material and maintaining material-room organization; overtime may be required.
