Job Summary
The Butech Packer assists the Butech Operator with leveling, sheeting, and using console-operated equipment to level length and stack weigh flat sheets of various gauges to meet customer requirements. This is a fast-paced warehouse position on the 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM Weekend shift (Friday–Monday). The role emphasizes operating familiarity with Butech machinery, crane operations, precision measurements, and quality inspections using measuring devices and drawings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices
- Detail oriented with the ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings
- 1 year experience with Butech machine or other Cut to Length Machines
- Previous experience with precision instruments
