Job Summary
Operate assigned molding or secondary operation machines to maintain optimal cycle times while sorting, separating, and boxing products according to quality guidelines and SOPs. Trim excess material from finished parts using approved knives and clippers, ensuring adherence to standards for box type, labels, and stacking format. Perform end-of-shift clean-up, assemble packaging boxes for the next shift, and communicate production status to incoming operators. Maintain a clean work area and strictly follow safety procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions immediately to the supervisor. Requires standing for up to four hours and lifting 40 lb boxes, with a passing score on Math and Reasoning assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 lb boxes during the shift
- Skillful use of hands and fingers to handle and inspect plastic parts ranging in size from 0.25" to 18"
- Capability to visually inspect parts for quality
- Safe and effective use of trimming tools to finish parts
- Ability to sort, inspect, and trim parts with precision
- Passing/Acceptable score on Math and Reasoning Assessment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to handle heat in the summer and other environmental conditions
