Machine Operator - Coating Room

Job Summary
Operate coating machines, manage batch production, and maintain continuous operation without interruptions. Perform routine troubleshooting, make adjustments to ensure proper function, and complete cleaning/sanitization according to established guidelines. Execute quality checks using rulers or scales, document results accurately, and perform set-up or changeover of machines including loading components and materials. Maintain a safe, clean, work area, assist with waste removal, and process all required paperwork timely. Schedule: B shift Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–3:00 AM; training on A shift for one month. Requirements include 1–3 years manufacturing experience, forklift and a-Scan certification, and basic math skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, procedures, and technical instructions
- Must be able to complete Forklift certification and a-Scan certification
- Basic math skills, including converting units (e.g., grams to pounds)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to complete reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions in various formats
- Team player who can also work independently
