Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, backhoes, lulls), drive CDL Class A truck, and support as a laborer on high-end residential construction sites across Fairfield and Westchester counties. Responsibilities include equipment operation, transport of materials/debris, routine maintenance, daily inspections, DOT compliance, load/unload of materials, documentation, and coordination with the on-site team while maintaining safety and respect for client properties.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A License (preferred)
- Experience operating excavators, skid steers, lulls, and backhoes
- Experience as a laborer and driver in a construction setting
- Ability to maintain, service, and perform light maintenance on equipment
- Familiarity with CT DOT and industry standards and regulations
- Strong attention to detail in inspections, tests, and documentation
- Proficiency using relevant tools
- Able to perform the physical demands of the role — lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with a positive, can-do attitude
- Must pass drug testing, motor vehicle license check, and background check
