Job Summary
Operate blow mold, grinder and trimmer machines along a production line; set up and calibrate equipment to start production, adjust machine settings, and troubleshoot process issues. Perform audits, weights and quality checks, enter data into the SPC database for quality control, and maintain records of approved/defective units. Perform minor maintenance and repairs on blow mold equipment and support systems; comply with safety standards and regulations; collaborate with coworkers to maximize efficiency and output.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience as a machine operator
- Blow mold operation experience
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
- Machine maintenance experience
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Ability to work overtime
