Machine Operator

Job Summary
Operate purlin line processing equipment and CNC-controlled systems to produce finished metal parts. Ensure safety and quality per ISO 9001:2008, document material usage, and back up other machines as needed. Use overhead crane, jib hoist, and forklift to move raw and finished material; perform measurements with tape measure, square, and protractor; read blueprints; maintain housekeeping. Train others, work with limited supervision, contribute to continuous improvement, and perform routine preventative maintenance. Requires ability to lift up to 60 lbs and be proficient with metric and standard measurements; willingness to layout and cooperate with team leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical ability to change rollers on roll forming operation
- Licensed to operate overhead crane, combi-lift, & forklift
- Capability to operate computer to edit and create part programs
- Knowledge of roll forming operations a plus
- Good math skills
- Read blueprints and work with both metric and standard numbers
- Ability to lift to 60 lbs.
