Machine Operator - Beefsteak Blender - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Operate various types of machinery on the 1st shift in a meat/beefsteak-blender production environment. Set up assigned equipment daily according to the production schedule and disassemble at close for sanitation. Monitor equipment operations, troubleshoot basic malfunctions, and notify supervision for significant issues. Record and interpret temperatures and other product parameters; calibrate systems to time, temperature, and equipment positions. Read and follow recipes and blueprints, perform data recording, and engage in preventative maintenance with maintenance staff. Maintain safe, clean work area in accordance with GMP and food-safety policies; follow all safety regulations and company rules. Take ownership of equipment, perform other duties as assigned, and comply with policy requirements. No domestic travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 years of experience in related field preferred
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and follow a designated recipe and written specifications
- Basic understanding of units of measure
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics in English
- Ability to perform data recording and interpretation
- Ability to understand verbal instructions
- Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment with safety and GMP compliance
