Job Summary
Review and interpret recap instructions; order materials; complete production records. Perform process-related troubleshooting and correction to ensure dimensions and quality of pieces while monitoring production. Execute cutting operations with minor adjustments, operate folders, hand-gather folded work, and load labels into trays. Perform bindery operations including separation of tray tags, collating, stapling, and gluing. Maintain a neat work area, comply with company rules, and protect sensitive data. Implement quality philosophies to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Keep supervisors informed of activities impacting department goals. Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Thorough understanding of bindery and inserting equipment operation
- Ability to apply written instructions to machine operation and product quality
- Good math skills
- Reliability through attendance, punctuality and attention to work station
- Demonstrates positive safety attitude
- 12 hour shift (6 am - 6pm or 6 pm - 6 am)
