Job Summary
Production Machine Operator sets up and operates a cold saw to cut aluminum extrusions to specified lengths, performs quality checks against the Quality Plan, maintains material flow, completes production logs, coordinates with extrusion/finishing teams to meet deadlines, and adheres to safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagout; role requires reading work orders, adjusting machine parameters, inspecting pieces for correct dimensions, and performing routine maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a safe, efficient production environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of production experience
- Able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 35 lbs repeatedly
- Fluent in English
- Able to work full-time: Four days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Mechanically inclined
- Familiar with LO/TO PPE and safety policies
- Reliable transportation
