Job Summary
Seeking dedicated Machine Operators for a production facility specializing in cookies and other snack products. Responsibilities include setting up and monitoring packaging equipment, maintaining quality standards, troubleshooting equipment, and training new employees. This is a contract to hire position with 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in machine operation, troubleshooting, and machine setup
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly in a food plant
- Experience with process and packaging machines
- Knowledge in machine calibration
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and equipment cleaning
