Job Summary
Set up, operate, and monitor high-speed automated manufacturing equipment, loading raw materials and performing visual inspections to verify product quality. Remove, stack, and package finished products while using calipers and tape measures to ensure specifications are met. Identify and correct minor equipment issues, perform basic preventive maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating components, and make necessary machine adjustments. Maintain a clean work area and accurately complete production documentation while adhering to all safety procedures. Cross-train on additional equipment and processes as needed within this hands-on manufacturing role.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift and perform repetitive physical activities including walking, lifting, twisting, bending, and stacking materials
- Dependable attendance and ability to work a consistent schedule
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to troubleshoot basic machine issues
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and measuring equipment such as calipers and tape measures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn new equipment and cross-train in different areas
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ months of manufacturing, production, or machine operating experience preferred
- Experience operating high-speed or high-volume manufacturing equipment is strongly preferred
- Experience performing basic preventive maintenance on production equipment is a plus
- You should be proficient in: Lean Manufacturing Principles
