Job Summary
Operate process equipment to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts in accordance with production orders and ABB standard processes. Perform routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and simple repairs, conduct regular maintenance, and troubleshoot issues while keeping detailed records of set-ups, repairs, and maintenance. Ensure product quality and compliance with safety guidelines, following operating manuals and workflows; support calibration and equipment programming as needed. Remain engaged with the team to contribute to productive, safe manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating process equipment or machinery
- Ability to perform routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and basic repairs
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment; ability to follow operating manuals and production orders
- Record-keeping of machine setups, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards
- Ability to work onsite and follow standard processes
- Knowledge of basic tools and relevant industry practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to report non-compliance
