Job Summary
Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot automated machine centers while performing assembly, inspection, testing, and product packing. Manage material handling with pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks, ensuring full adherence to quality policies, 6S practices, and safety procedures including behavioral observations. Monitor manufacturing phases for equipment efficiency, review processes to improve workflows, and conduct cross-training into other work centers. Maintain a clean work area, utilize precision measurement devices, and train team members. Available for any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven communication ability both verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform basic math computations
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn all primary and secondary department processes
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to properly use hand tools with minimal supervision or instruction
- Ability to work independently and multitask with a wide variety of activities
- Ability to use precision measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds consistently
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
- Must be available to work any shift, weekends, and/or overtime as required
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience preferred
