Job Summary
Machine Operator in Training needed at Nice-Pak in Mooresville, IN. Responsible for tending machines in converting/packaging functions (splicing, converting, wrapping, lid application, palletizing) to meet safety, quality, service, and KPI targets (OEE, waste, continuous improvement). Operates equipment, performs changeovers, detects defects, and maintains sanitary conditions in a cgmp environment. Must be able to train with and adapt to a high-performance team, follow safety procedures, and support multiple departments (Quality, Shipping & Logistics, Maintenance, HR). Certifications include VSOP1/VSOP2 and SMT eligibility; pre- and post-training requirements apply. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in machine operation preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills required. 12-hour shifts with manual handling tasks may be involved.
Required Qualifications

- Machine operation experience preferred
- VSOP1 Certification or above
- Must be VSOP1 or above on the designated asset
