Job Summary
Operate the packaging system and monitor overall performance, efficiency and quality. Perform start-up and shut-down, preventive maintenance, sample and monitor product quality, troubleshoot issues, replenish materials, and maintain production records. Support the manufacture of printed material by operating bindery/packaging equipment within a multi-skilled production team, performing routine tasks with some discretionary input and contributing to short-term projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 0 - 3 years machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred
- Average to above average mechanical ability
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion and wear hearing protection on the production floor
