Job Summary
Operate manufacturing equipment on 3rd shift to support producing high-quality bushings, including assembling POC and PRC bushings, coating studs, winding cores, and cleaning, inspecting, and packaging finished products. Work under supervision with opportunities to cross-train across multiple production processes while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, JSAs, and technical drawings; interpret gauges and measurements; use a ruler or tape measure; stay independent with minimal supervision; participate in a union environment. Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area and contribute to meeting operational standards and quality goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fork truck certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, JSAs, and technical drawings
- Basic measurement skills (ruler or tape measure)
- Ability to interpret machine gauges and display readings
- Self-motivated with initiative in fast-paced environment
