Job Summary
Machine Operator handles production equipment including punch presses, press brakes, folding machines, turret presses, saw drill boxes, flat bed lasers, Kuka lasers, tube benders, buffing lines, and CNC mills. Responsibilities include feeding raw materials to semi-automated machines, performing quality checks to ensure defect-free parts, maintaining 6S cleanliness and safety, completing daily machine check sheets, and supporting environmental process improvements. Must be able to work in an environment with coolant, dust, noise, and temperature variations; requires ability to read blueprints and inspection tools, and to operate as part of a team with effective communication. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of manufacturing and/or machine operation experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, protractor and other inspection tools
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools needed
- Follow first-piece inspection and approval procedures prior to full production
- Effective communication and ability to work in a team environment
- Must be quality-focused and maintain an organized, safe work area
