Job Summary
Operate press machinery on the 2nd shift to produce and package finished quality parts in accordance with production sheets, standard operation manuals, and quality requirements. Maintain a safe, orderly work area, complete production reports with numbers and scrap data, identify cartons with date/name/shift, and ensure correct grinder usage for scrap and runners. Follow training instructions, communicate problems to the on-coming shift, and suggest improvements to part quality and production rates. Perform related secondary operations at the press, assist with quality checks to meet customer specifications, and adhere to safety procedures during an eight-hour shift.
