Job Summary
Machine Operator on 2nd shift responsible for sizing down wire/rod per customer specification; operate machines, select dies, calibrate inspection tools, use overhead cranes, perform quality checks, enter data into AS400, handle line duties including weighing coils, labeling, and inspecting for surface nonconformances while following 6S and safety procedures. Includes routine maintenance, loading/unloading coils with overhead cranes, and shift-specific hours (2:00PM - 10:30PM).
Required Qualifications
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Basic computer skills
- Overhead crane experience in an industrial setting is preferred
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Math and deductive reasoning skills
