Job Summary
Prepare and cook baked goods according to established recipes while monitoring quality, inspecting products for non-conforming items, and recording ingredient temperatures. Operate production equipment to make minor adjustments, follow Critical Control Points and Good Manufacturing Practices, and complete required cleaning tasks with approved chemicals. Report food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to the Production team leader and communicate production issues. Support frequent overtime and weekend work as this role has the highest overtime demand. Located in Kent, Washington, this onsite manufacturing environment involves high noise levels and physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, and lifting materials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with machine operation and basic hand tools
- Knowledge of food safety practices, including Critical Control Points, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Comfort working with cleaning chemicals after training and validation
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Willingness to work 3rd shift with regular overtime and weekends
- Support frequent overtime and weekend work
