Job Summary
Verify process output against quality limits, adjust equipment as needed, and isolate materials outside specification. Execute, record, and respond to inspections and test results while ensuring accurate transaction logging for production, rejects, and inventory. Move glass materials using vacuum lift assist equipment and mobile carts, perform preventative maintenance including cleaning, and actively participate in Toyota Production System activities. Direct personnel during shift preparation and shut-down procedures, manage inventory requirements to keep production on schedule, and apply inspection tolerances to pass or reject products.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent work history in a manufacturing environment
- Good math and computer interface skills
- Good communication and organization skills
- Strong interpretation and decision-making skills
- Good time management skills
- Stable personality to assist in training employees and confidently direct co-workers with respect
- Punctual and excellent attendance
- Be available for overtime and emergency work
