Job Summary
Operate automated machines including S4/P4, SIR, L3, LT8, and B3 to punch, shear, bend, cut, and weld sheet metal while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances. Perform set-ups, machine settings, quality checks, and preventive maintenance; conduct minor repairs when breakdowns occur. Adjust equipment using layouts, jigs, and fixtures to ensure products meet exact specifications. Manage inventory by receiving, stowing, and retrieving large steel bundles, then loading them into machines. Adhere strictly to company procedures for safety and quality while maintaining a clean workspace. Use material handling equipment like forklifts and overhead cranes. Read blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot and complete assigned duties.
