Job Summary
Operate stamping presses and auxiliary equipment with manual and automated packaging processes to produce metal connector plates and steel components. Feed slit ribbon material into stamping dies, perform first piece inspections, and manually pack finished goods while monitoring coolant and oil levels. Meet daily production goals, report machine malfunctions, and complete all quality and production paperwork throughout the assigned shift. Maintain safety and quality compliance while minimizing product waste. This physical role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. during the regularly scheduled 2nd shift, with attendance at work including overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED
- Ability to perform mathematical skills such as calculating proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and able to apply concepts of basic geometry
- Ability to read and understand prints and schematics
- Ability to use small hand-power tools, including reading a tape measure with 1/32-inch increments
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications
