Job Summary
Machine Operator for 2nd shift, responsible for safely and efficiently operating mailing equipment to convert post-press product into finished goods. Requires setting up equipment to meet customer requirements, performing and documenting quality checks, retrieving supplies, inspecting for defects, and maintaining a clean workspace. Must read and understand written job tickets and verbal instructions, participate in meetings and continuous improvement activities, and assist with general equipment maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math, and ability to follow instructions are essential. Position reports to Production Supervisor; schedule includes 2:30PM–11:00PM (with possible extended hours) Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. Location: Louisville, KY with possible coverage at Cincinnati, OH. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, life insurance, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of mail equipment experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not necessary
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
