Job Summary
Machine Operator on 2nd shift responsible for applying metal to customer orders and processing material per work order specifications. Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment; set up equipment to run material per specifications; verify product meets setup notes; record measurements and maintain safe, clean processing area. Communicate changes to sales representatives; perform equipment preventive maintenance; assist with packaging material; maintain measurement equipment; train others when required; contribute to lean and quality initiatives. Warehouse floor role involving heavy machinery with a focus on safety and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Perform basic math skills
