Job Summary
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for machining specified pieces using various materials, techniques, tools, and machines. This entry-level position involves interpreting blueprints, cutting, bending, shaping metal, and connecting pieces using riveting, rolling, or soldering. You will ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO standards, utilize required PPE, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Training will be provided, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General Fabricator or similar role

- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Knowledge of various materials, techniques, and tools used in fabrication
- Ability to demonstrate required proficiency level/competency to successfully perform job
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation
- Thorough understanding of or ability to quickly learn production equipment
- Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work
- Ability to operate independently with little to no oversight
- Understanding of and ability to abide by applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
