Job Summary
Operate coil winding machines with accuracy and care to produce coils per blueprints and specifications. Load materials, adjust machine settings, wind wire around cores/forms to exact specifications, and use hand tools to cut, strip, and shape wire. Assemble components, perform quality checks, and maintain safety and a continuous improvement mindset. Requires reading instructions, basic math, and prior manufacturing or machine operation experience; High school diploma or GED needed. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a loud, temperature-extreme environment; comply with PPE requirements and safety protocols. Competitive pay starting at $22 per hour with shift differential after training; full benefits and PTO; 2nd shift schedule with potential overtime. Eligible candidates will be subject to background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read job instructions and perform basic math
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Comfortable using manual and powered hand tools
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Hoist/crane experience and forklift certification are a plus
- Safety-first attitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical exam
