Job Summary
Operate slitter to meet daily goals and perform loading/unloading of rolls. Interpret orders and SOPs, perform palletization of finished goods, bagging and labeling, and enter data into production forms. Conduct quality checks, assess slit material for defects, and ensure proper print quality and label accuracy. Maintain safe, clean work area and follow SOPs and GMP/SQF guidelines. Must be mechanically inclined with ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" and lift up to 100 lb with assist (50 lb unassisted); work 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm); related duties as assigned to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance; up to 50 pounds without
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and use hands
- Computer operation skill: Moderate
